Nanofiber Sr2Fe1.5Mo0.5O6-δ Electrodes Fabricated by the Electrospinning Method for Solid-Oxide Cells

Solid oxide cells (SOCs) are attracting much more attention as promising energy conversion and storage devices. One of the challenges optimizing solid-oxide cells’ performance is that there not enough triple-phase boundaries (TPB) in electrode bulk. To enhance reaction area for SOCs, Sr2Fe1.5Mo0.5O6-δ nanofibers synthesized by electrospinning with metal nitrate precursors used SOC electrodes operated both humidified air a hydrogen atmosphere. SFMO display highly porous crystallized perovskite structure continuous pathways XRD analysis SEM observation. The average diameter after sintering about 100 nm. La0.8Sr0.2Ga0.8Mg0.2O3-δ(LSGM) electrolyte-supported symmetrical cell nanofiber exhibits enhanced electrochemical an H2 Moreover, distribution relaxation time method to analyze impedance spectra, polarization peaks observed assigned correspond different processes. results indicate improved nanostructure can be potential material electrode.
